Montreal-born bilingual jazz vocalist Tina Hartt sings with a sensuality that ignites long forgotten desires. A former saxophonist whose improvisational approach draws heavily from her years as a player, this engaging performer borrows liberally from vintage Parisian chansons, jazz standards and original compositions. Effortlessly switching from one style to the next, her vocals beautifully compliment innovative arrangements featuring clarinet, violin, accordion and sizzling Latin rhythms.
Since moving to Calgary, Tina has performed at the Jack Singer Hall, the Grand Theatre, the Grey Eagle Casino, the Ironwood Bar & Grill, the Asylum for Art, Alvin’s Jazz Club, the Blackfoot Hotel including several concert series. Tina is currently working on her next CD for release in 2023.
