Connecting OnStage

Professional Development for Touring Artists

The Arts Touring Alliance of Alberta presents OnStage, a program offering professional feedback to artists new to touring or trying to improve their profile. OnStage sessions will be held at Expressionz Café in Edmonton on Sunday, March 11, 2012 and at Bignote Music in Calgary on Sunday, March 25, 2012.

OnStage gives musicians, singers, and performing groups an opportunity to meet with a panel of professional musicians and community presenters. Artists present a 10-minute showcase, then get 30 minutes of one-on-one feedback. The panel will react to the performance, critique promotional materials, and can also recommend future directions for artists.

The Arts Touring Alliance represents artists and presenters from across the Province. Its programs promote and nurture arts touring, provide networking opportunities and access to professional development.

Space at OnStage is limited and booked on a first-come, first-booked basis.

Call the Arts Touring Alliance of Alberta at 780-644-4840 to schedule a time.
